I know the original owner so I can find out but curious what y’all think In the mean time. I love these threads. It’s hard to see because I treated her for scaly leg mites but she has featherd feat. More like a Brahma amount, less than cochin. And she’s big.

Could also be an olive egger mixed with Marans, I’ve seen lots of barred combos for OE w that pattern and feathered legs.

French Cuckoo Marans or FCM-based Olive Egger.

My FCMs are big girls.

Just an fyi I can confirm she’s a French cuckoo marans. No eggs yet but the original owner said she had been broody for WEEKS. So that also explains why she was susceptible to the SLM. I’ll break her while treating/quarantining her. Two birds one stone…. Can I say that?
