Wow what a stunner! He sure could be part LS. I know they’re used a lot in making sex linking hybrids.

Hummm. If sex link, shouldn't they have known he was a cockerel? I ordered (and paid for!) all pullets.

Unless a “golden/red” hen was used, the chicks wouldn’t have been sex linked. We don’t have hatcheries in the UK like there are in the States, but imo, you definitely should have gotten a pullet if you paid for it. Can’t you complain or ask for a refund? I would be so annoyed if I bought (for example) a pre raised pullet for £30 and it was a cockerel instead. Can’t have them where I live and you no one will even take them for free.

Oh I see. No, it's not a problem. We ordered 18 EE pullets and I think 3 are cockerels, that's about average odds, I think. It's not 100% guarantee. Thanks.
