New hens

So long story short i ended up paying 40$ a hen for 5 lavender orpington hens, how bad did i overpay?

I will need to add 2 pullets to my (2-pullet) flock to replace a rooster that was mis-sexed as a chick. Unfortunately, I have to buy them from a hatchery, so I'll be paying about that, plus shipping! And I won't even be able to get anything as cool as a lavender Orpington. . .
