Hello

I've recently adopted/rescued 3 baby chicks i was told they might be female and i think they are about 2-3 weeks old not sure. I have no idead what breed they are so im trying to figure that out so i can see if they are hardy (for winter) so i can build/buy their chicken coop.
The person who bought them wasnt taking care of them well. They originally had gotten 6 but 3 passed away. They also had them in a small cardboard box so the 3 escaped in their garage and 2 fell into mouse glue traps. We were able to rescue them with oil to get them out of the glue traps and later washed them with dawn to get rid of the oil, the other one had wondered outside during all this and no one noticed eventually it appeared and we were able to reunite them that same day. One wasnt looking good that day it kept wobbling but its fully recovered now. Iv'e had them for 3 days now they are doing well i have them in a 100 gallon tub, they gave me their food, water dish, and pine shavings for their bedding I also bought them a heating lamp, grit, a new feeding dish, and a wooden perch.
