New here and to chickens...

Hi, my name is Chelle and my family and I inherited 9 hens and 1 rooster from some friends of ours earlier this year. We then got some red sex link chicks a little bit later and now have some black sex link chicks that my daughter is raising with the 4-H Poultry Chain. On top of that one of our original hens has 3 chicks of her own now... so that makes us have 43 chickens in all. Being new to all of this I have had many questions and I always land right here in BackYard Chickens for the answers. Looking forward to being a part of this community.
