New here, but definitely a fan already

Hello Chickens,

I'm Broom_Hilda !! My hubby (Baldmonkey) and I are new to the site and new to chickens, but are very excited to be picking up our first chickens at the meet in Raleigh later this month.

We bought an old farm in Blairs, Va that has a stall barn. We are converting one of the stalls into a nice coop. We have a lot of room for our "family" to roam and are planning on letting them free-range.

Anyway, thanks to all who have helped answer our questions (NCCatnip and Scrambled Egg)...we appreciate your patience

We did order the book "Living with Chickens" from Amazon and it shipped today...hoping to get it tomorrow or Wednesday.

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and am looking forward to seeing you all at the meet this month
