I am thinking of doing a chicken tractor instead of a coop. Should I attempt to build or try and buy one?

I’m not sure how that would work... chickens like a nice place preferably off the ground at night to sleep in. If the floor on the bottom is open they will be open to all sorts of animals that will dig under and eat them. If winter there gets really cold they need somewhere warm

Of course I’m new to chickens and only started a little more than a half year ago, but I would recommend giving them a coop and run. You can let them out when you are outside and supervise while they forage.

Anyone else that has more experience know if this is a good idea? I see a lot of potential problems. I’d recommend doing lots of research into that idea I’m starting to get curious myself if that would actually work
