Hi,
My name is Jen and I live in Wisconsin. My husband and I just moved into the country last November and are loving every minute of it!!!!
We have horses, cats and a dog right now. We are looking to add chickens to that mix.

Greetings from Conroe, Texas. Just jump right in there,Jen, and get a couple of chicks from your local feed store. This is a great time of year to start. Read all you can about raising chicks and decide what kind of chickens you want to raise. This close to Easter you should find an abundant supply available at the Tractor Supply (TSC). Keep us updated on your new adventure of raising chickens and have a great time. WARNING: Chickens are an addiction. You can't have JUST ONE. You'll see! I have 6 Bantams, 3 Americauna (Easter Eggers)(EE)'s they lay colored eggs (Lt. blue to green blue) and one pullet of unknown origin. SHARON
