Rule of thumb, minimum, per bird, that I have read here is 4/10/1 ........ 4sq. ft. floor space, 10 sq. ft. of space in the run, and 1 sq. ft. of open space for ventilation in the coop.
Some things will affect these numbers- large breeds need more space, breeds that have a temperment that allows them to tolerate confinement well can get by with less, perhaps ..... but note the above numbers are minimums- more is better, in most cases.
