He's a doll! He looks like one that I had a while back. His name was Horton. Horton's papa is a red cochin and his mom is a black silkie.

Good to know I was a little stressed ..I've only seen the regular roosters not sure of the bread but guessing the most common run of the mill ones

Such a cutie! With those pictures I'm leaning more towards him being a mix. His leg color doesn't seem right.

Oh no, as in the standard for the Silkie breed. I believe Silkie's should have darker colored feet.

It's a cross or hatchery quality, but still, that's a gorgeous rooster!!
