First duck hatch
Learning as I go
Using little giant still air
For the first 18-19 days had about 50% humidty , to realize it's been to high and air cells weren't big enough. Dropped humidity and opened second vent whole for about 5 days , they increased rather well as I was checking air cell size I saw the baby move and push up the air cell. I took a few hours to decide how to proceed ( being a newbie not sure exactly what that ment) than over the past day and half have gradually added humidity ( currently about 61-62) , knowing they had to much moisture a week ago I don't want to add to much humidity . This morning all different sizes but I saw moving shadows in all 5 of the eggs air cell.
And I swear I keep hearing noises but I can't confirm its coming from the bator. To much noise around

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! Sounds like things are going well with your incubation. Great to hear you got your air sacs back on track. I'm not a duck person but I do know ducks really can take their time when hatching. Drop by the duck section of the forum for all the duck chat and experts. Here is the link https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks

Wishing you the very best of luck with your eggs, hope you have a great hatch.
Enjoy BYC :frow

Thank you

Thank you !
I've found most of useful information on byc forums over the past few months.
Today I decided to join , more for my sanity I think being so close to hatch

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Good luck with the hatch!

Thank you so very much!!!
First pipped about 11 last night
Second pipped between 1-5 a.m.
Nothing more than just the bump right now.
Still waiting on the other 3
Had a long conversation with one a couple hours ago( that was the coolest thing ever)
I am still trying not to count my ducks before they hatch .
This started out just being a test , grabbed a few eggs and thru them in there so I could get the whole routine of everything down.
Surprised so far everything has 100%

Thank you!!!
Yep , that's what I am learning really quick here. Luckily I have some housework I've put off for a couple days, hopefully that will keep me busy
