New here...just wanted to share the brooder I built to get my Peeps out of the guest bathtub!

I just joined BYC, and have had my Peeps for one month! When I brought them home from TSC at one day old, I initially had them in the guest bathtub...well, by the end of week 1, they were escaping! LOL I quickly built this brooder to contain my errant children. Thought I'd share!

Chicks do inspire one to build things that is for sure. Look like a keeper. Maybe 5 years from now you'll recount all the chicks brooded in it.

Good job! You must be in a warm garage to have wire sides. I have been fighting the cold weather here!! I have straw stacked around the brooder box to insulate it and have a cover on top to keep the heat in. It has been down to 14 degrees at night! I have been maintaining a good temp in there so far. I like your design, if I had a warm place I would copy it!
