NEW HERE, looking for COOP inspo

So I am updating this...we were initially getting a premade coop, the aivituvin AIR 49...we bought it for $590...but then we realized our mistake and tried to return it... they ended up bargaining with us to KEEP it...so we ended up keeping it for $290. It will do for the next couple of years. and will give us an idea of what we need for when we get our "Permanent" fixture. We def need to hack it by adding sealing and lifting it off the ground. I know I want to do those two things for sure. Thank you all!

so the new one is bigger @15 sq ft without the nesting boxes. But the attached run is only 20 sq ft. So we will lift the coop off the ground with cinder blocks, allowing space under the coop for running as well.
Yeah, so that is still good for 3-4 chickens. If you want to grow your flock down the road, I would definitely consider converting a shed. Though your playhouse might work as a second mini coop for another 3-4 if you build a bigger run connecting the two? Both coops are a little tight, but may work just fine for your needs.

I am certain that that is the same footage including the run. I'm sorry but that coop won't work out. It is lacking in ventilation which is the most important thing to consider in a coop. It also will not keep them safe from predators.

Same footage? The run is 60x50 inches, which converts to almost 20. If I lift the coop, it allows for an additional 15 sq ft.. Making the total run 35sqft.( 101x50")
Of course we need to hack the coop by adding latches. I'll look at the ventilation as well. We have some time before the chicks end up in there. So I'm learning as we go along

So yeah what she's saying is like 35 sqft is enough run space for 3.5 chickens. Please don't get 3.5 chickens. Unless they have bantams!?? 🤔 I digress. Yes, extra ventilation and fortification will be essential to making a coop like that work, too. Don't be afraid to cut holes, and then cover with 1/2" hardware cloth.
