new here, no chickens ... yet

hello, everyone. i have been reading this forum for about two weeks now, just gathering information about raising and caring for chickens. we hope to begin keeping chickens this time next year, just waiting to move to a new home, etc. my goal is to become quite educated on all related topics before actually starting our little farmette. so far this place has been a wealth of good info and im so glad i came across it.
