Hey all! now that I've finally got all necessary information and questions answered on my first incubation, I now have the time to introduce myself! First off my Name is Maddison, I live in Rural NSW Australia. and I love chickens of course 
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I got my first chicken 5 years ago, I called her coco. I deliberately picked out the runt of the flock in the livestock store, my little black hen. unfortunately, she died a few months ago of (I think) Infectious bronchitis. courtesy of my irresponsible neighbors with diseased chickens! she lived a good 5 years, plenty to eat and all the free-range she could handle.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?13. 5 Roosters, 8 Hens. Plus 3 chicks, and more than 15 chicks to be.
(3) What breeds do you have?Frizzle x Australorp. Old English Game x Orpington. Frizzle x Old English Game x Orpington. Transylvanian Naked Neck x Unknown. and one Purebred Japanese Bantam Rooster!
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? Googling chicken diseases lead me here.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I collect new and Retro video games. yes, that's right I'm a chicken enthusiast who also loves to play and collect video games, to name a few consoles I own; Super NES, Nintendo 64, Playstation Original, Xbox Original, Wii, Etc.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I own three cats. not much to say about them, they are a-holes! I have one purebred bull terrier, she is 11 years old but she still has the energy to guard the house and even our chickens! I have 4 Gouldian finches, which were given to me for free. One turtle named Terrance... a weird Gallah that swears and whispers secrets if you get close to her... and a Mum and Brother!
