Hey,
I am new to this site. Was referred by a local chicken owner who told me about this site, excited to get started. I did have a couple questions on breeding...
Our buff orpingtons, our last flock was eaten by our dogs last week
, they were three beautiful girls... but we got some new barred rock hens, two of them, and are planning on getting two buff orpington hens and a buff orpington rooster this week. I wanted to ask about crossing the barred rock hens with a buff orp rooster, and if anyone has had experience with this... what the chicks turned out like?
My husband and I are going to be starting up have egg chickens and then raising some for meat consumption as well. I also wanted to know if anyone had any good tips about this, and how to go about it? Thanks!
