Finally joined after using this site to research backyard chickens. We brought home 4 chicks at the end of April and we are so happy with our little flock! Glad to be here!

We have a cuckoo maran named Gozer, a standard layer named Buttercup, an Easter Egger named Charlie and a brown leghorn named Alvin. Unfortunately, Alvin is indeed a rooster and we have to rehome him
