Hi everyone! My husband and I dove into the chicken world in August. We agreed to start with 6 baby chicks. We started with 6 straight run, then two older RIRs, then 6 Barred Rock pullets, then adopted a friend's Bantam silkie roo. So he were are 8 months later, with an incubator and a bunch of babies! It's so much fun, we love watching the chickens. I've already learned so much and am looking forward to continuing the adventure!

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.
