Hello! I’m new to BYC (lurking for awhile). I’m trying to decide on the best nesting boxes for my coop. Any ideas?

The best nest box is one that makes it easy for you to retrieve eggs and clean, that the birds like to lay in but not sleep in.

I used a variety of things. I bought a jumbo nesting box at TSC and used a milk crate. My chickens prefer the milk crate.

My nesting setup is some old crates and it works pretty well!
