I got chickens almost an year ago. Been using this website for info, finally decided to join.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I got chickens almost an year ago and am new to them
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
25.
(3) What breeds do you have?
1 golden comet rooster, 1 barred rock rooster, 7 Rhode island reds, 5 jersey giants, 4 light Brahmas, 2 welsummers, and 5 barred rocks.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
eggs and pets
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Nothing much really.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
1 kitten, 2 zebra finches, lot of parakeets, goldfish
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Found it when I was researching for which chicken breeds to get, diet, etc. Lots of good info to help a new chicken keeper.
