Hi
I’m sarah from near Portsmouth!
We are full time foster carers to 2 lovely children and have 2 girls of our own!
We have recently taken on 8 chicks- 3 turned out to be males so a friend rejoined one for me and the other is fit and well! But the 3rd one is not doing so well!
Very wobbly on his legs, chirping constantly, no balance at all and generally just lays down !
still eating well and enjoys cuddles!
Vets said it was a leg strain but we think more x

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
It may be leg strain. It may be Marek's.
I recently read where someone had a male chick that wouldn't/couldn't walk. They supplemented him with Poultry Nutri-drench for about 2 weeks and he began walking again in grew into a fine rooster. Your boy may be growing too fast for his joints and is in pain. Try supplementing him. It can't hurt. Good luck.
