I am new here and have a question for any who had geese. My poor boy (Ricky) keeps ending up on his back and is not able to get back over on his own. He seems like he is ill, but I just do not know what to do for him as his mate Lucy, is fine. He is not doing well and I will not be home for another week. My Mom is there, but she just cries and have been giving him electrolytes. Please help for some advice or what to try?

Welcome! so sorry about your goose. How old is he? What do they eat?
Welcome!

Geese just like ducks need niacin and many feeds do not have enough to maintain health. Even feed for waterfowl can not give some geese what they need so we supplement. By starting them when first hatched on nutritional yeast sprinkled over their feed 1 tablespoon over each cup of feed given. And even then one can still have niacin deficiency, that is when we use liquid BComplex TSC Carrie’s one brand Durvet it will say injectable but we give it I orally either over a tasty treat or orally. I’d rec starting Ricky on it ASAP. 1ml daily. Not sure why one gosling will have trouble and another won’t unless they just can’t assimilate the niacin in their feed. But it seems to happen a lot. I’d def get him started and see how he is doing in a week, hopefully this is his problem and he’ll get over it. Here is info on doses and brands
