Thanks!Welcome to BYC!
Thanks! I try to get good pictures we them but they move so much! None of them really like being held or touched. I see people holding and petting their chickens all the time! Idk what I’m doing wrong here! I took some more pictures today to make another thread of the ones I suspect might be roosters. Where should I post that do you think? Is there a board specifically for that?Glad to meet you. What pretty chickens you have! I look forward to hearing more stories about your bird adventures! Happy to have you join us.
My favorite intro to chicken keeping (short!)
If you need to rehome any of the roosters most folks recommend using Craigslist, and if you have a local Facebook Poultry group, post there, and you can also post here on your local thread. Be sure to mention your town or county so folks know how far they would have to go for the rooster.
I tell folks to take the best glamor shot they can get of the boys to help them get a good home rather than the soup pot. But roosters can be good if they get along with you, each other and don't treat the hens badly. Here is an article about roosters, and there are more you can read by putting Roosters into the SEARCH bar.
