Glad to meet you, and welcome to BYC. Good for you, rescuing animals generally, and these roosters in particular. There are loads of roosters seeking good homes, and these guys are lucky (though they may not show it at the moment! )

I am so glad that Marie 2020 already sent you a link to Shadrach's wonderful article on rooster behavior. I hope it helps you understand what is going on, and develop some strategy for these two to coexist.
