Hello everyone. New here and in the Chattanooga Tn, Northwest Ga area. I'm looking forward to learning more about raising chickens. I have been raising chickens for about 3 years now. I keep a small flock of Buff Brahma hens and a couple of OEG bantams. I'm also currently looking for a Buff Brahma rooster for my hens.
 
Welcome. I sent you a message so that I can keep your information. My silkie is currently sitting on two buff brahma eggs that are due to hatch next Friday. If I have a male, I will need to rehome - after being with Momma for 6-8 weeks. I am currently trying to catch up to my rooster/hen proper ratio so that I can put my roosters with my hens. Right now I have 9 adults hens but 3 don't count because they are silkies (small) so I have to separate them from the 2-Speckled Sussex roosters. I have 5-day old EE's, pullets so I am slowly getting there, but, another rooster would mean another 8-10 hens and I can't do it. I am 4 1/2 hours from you.
