Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join to our flock. Your black chicks look like Black Australorps. I've raised them for years and they are my favorite standard breed; extremely hardy, calm and gentle (my children and my granddaughter made lap pets of them), and the best layers of the standard, brown egg laying breeds.
