Ok i have a white holland not a true holand but anyways, here is the problem.

Monday night he would not get up layed in one spot.
tues he will stand but head and neck is 1/2 of the body height.
both nights he will not eat but he will drink (when i an there if he eats and drinks when i am not well i could not tell u)?

Both nights wekk cool but not cold he had a heat lamp on in the coop.
he also shares a space with a duck not sure on the breed of the duck off hand if this matters??

any info would be a great help. i hate to put the thing down be casue i can do something easy to help?? thanks matt and hamelton ( turkey)

He sounds sick. Go to your local farm store and get some antibiotics. It is never a good idea to keep a duck with a turkey in the same pen. Ducks play in there water not to mention its always sqirting out the other end. If the duck is making the pen muddy or damp then this is probaly why your turkey is acting this way. If so remove the duck and replace bedding with clean dry bedding, not cedar though. Antobiotics and warm sheltered dry pen are probaly your turkys best hope at this point. Good luck

The duck is really not that messy in the pen he really don't swim like a normal duck so to speak.
and i kneep the pen as clean as possiable. but i will keep this in mind.

Also the only thing he drinks is water and he is not eating?
he will stand and head is a little higher, stools are semi runny and brown? if this helps any. thanks

Maybe deworming him? I keep 1 turkey, ducks and chickens together. Can you get a fecal done on him? Put some yogurt out for him, get him some electrolytes in his water. These are some of the suggestions I can think of....definately keep him warm and dry.

Im heading to the feed mill tomorrow, and see what they say and may have for trukeys.

As far as yogurt work i guess the plain stuff will work.
also will check on the fecal test. thanks for everyones info knowlage is good to have, thanks matt

ok i got some DURAMYCIN-10 AND VITAMINS AND ELECTROLYTES. My question is can you mix not in the same container but give both together. thanks

well what ever he had he is getting better slowley.

Thanks for everyones help and hope he gets better thanks
