Hi! My name is Kristen. I’m new to being a chicken mom. I currently have 5. They were all supposed to be hens, but 2 are roosters. 2 Belfielfers. 1 Polish. 1 silkie. And 1 Polish silkie.

I started chickens for eggs. However, now it’s more of they are my pets and enjoy their company. They are all unique and adorable.

Outside of being a chicken mom, I’ma Nigerian goat mom, dog and cat mom and have a 20 year old son. My family is my everything.

I’ve been in vet med for 25 years this year. I have access to vet care easy. I run a very successful hospital. Love my job.

I heard about BYC from a book on audible I’ve been listening to. I’m excited to keep learning.
