When I lived in Alaska we had a raven that would do the.same thing. Unfortunately we lived in a questionable trailer court in a questionable neighborhood with extremely questionable neighbors. Someone shot it. I think that was my.first experience with.a.wild bird being a clown and the beginning of my love for birds.Wellcome to BYC. Ducks always have the sweetest, most innocent expression. You have to love them.
Years ago a mallard female would bang/peck against my outside door, when she wanted something to eat or drink. She was with two drakes. Then she would walk on the outside sill for my picture window and look in.
Next year she came back but with only one drake![]()
I was 3 hours late getting them outside today. Very impatient ducks. Beesly Whacker expressed its dissatisfaction during transport by trying to bite me again.I have been to this website many times since adding 5 ducks to our family. I purchased the little furry cuties on March 4. They are now full blown teenage hellyuns and I'm counting the days until they overnight outside. Our adventures together have filled with laughter at some antics, and cursing at others (2 hour chases after escapes outside). It's a learning experience for sure.

For some.reason I can't show the video of their impatience while filling the tub. They love that morning(ish) bath
