New house. Old shed. Total transformation. But, NEED IDEAS! (+Pics)

True. Is there any way to prevent that? 'Cause I like the idea of a raised floor, though working without it would be easier....

If it was me and got some money to play with, I would go with concrete floor or LARGE pavers.

Do you recommend that because of the winds? I think the shed is facing just the opposite direction.

Most of our weather here in NC tends to come from the west, so you would want that side protected. Northside protected in the winter. (you will get the occasional nor'easter or hurricance coming out of the southeast but most is coming from the west to southwest. Your main concern here is going to be ventilation in comparison to trying to keep them warm. Check out Nadines M*A*S*H UNITS she's in the upstate of SC http://www.westknollfarm.com/housing.html

THanks.

I'm excited about constructing this. I just have to figure out what I want to do!

Im thinkng MAYBE a corridor in the center, with two cages on each side. My big concern (besides ventilation) is the flooring, and what to do with it....

Please look at the pics and consider what you guys would do with such a space.
