New house. Old shed. Total transformation. But, NEED IDEAS! (+Pics)

Ledger board, I'm guessing like a baseboard on the bottom of the floor that runs alongside your wall. 2 x 4 or 2 x 6 would be sufficent, dont you BYCers think?

One thing I dont like about raised floors, predators can make their homes under them. Not a good idea because they can eat thru the wood like they did with mine....sewer rats and possums. Until I got some hardware wire on the bottom, they still can try.

You're smack dab in the middle of the piedmont. I'd take off one wall or more walls (South ahd East) Use the North and West to be your "coop" and the rest of it fenced in to be the run.

I'm not exactly sure that ledger board is the right term, but a level board across the bottom, you should be able to cut them to fit in between the framing for the existing walls, that you can attach the hardware cloth to. It just allows you something to nail to, since there isnt a great way to stick wire to metal walls.

Forgive my ignorance to construction and design, but you'd recommend taking down the walls for vinyl?

True. Is there any way to prevent that? 'Cause I like the idea of a raised floor, though working without it would be easier....

Do you recommend that because of the winds? I think the shed is facing just the opposite direction.

Just line the inside walls with those vinyl sheets. Not the outside.
