New House! *Update pic!

    Well today was one of those rare days where it wasn't pooring down rain so me and my brother thought we'd work on the new chicken/duck house! Got it pretty much done to where they can stay in it tonight just have to fix a few things in the morning. Been working on it on and off all day(drill kept dieing) since about noon till 7:30. It's dark when we stopped. Heres a few pics I'll get the letest updated one in the morning as it was too dark

    Thanks guys! I gotta wait till it stops raining to get pics(may be a while) but the ducks and chickens LOVE IT!

    That came together nicely! [​IMG]

    I am no builder-expert, but I used the same type of wood for mine. I was told to paint it twice, so I did. If it is out in the weather, you probably need to paint.

    My local Restore has gallons of paint for $5 in lots of colors. I also found wood for perches there.

    You might also think about keeping that wooden frame off the ground. From what I can see the lumber looks untreated so that will tend to rot fairly quick in a wet environment.
