I had a similar problem where 2 of the 6 chickens I bought from Rural King were roosters. I made the mistake though of getting rid of both of them, and then a predator got one of my girls. I'm now on the search for a rooster, although hopefully a well tempered one since I have a two year old who loves to collect the eggs and pet the girls. Too bad you're not from Southern Illinois or I would swap one of my ladies with you for one of your fellows! Good luck!
