Hello, I have raised chickens my entire life. My current flock is 4 barred rocks, 4 buff orpingtons, 2 Rhode Island reds, 3 Banty frizzle/ silkies, and 2 Banty polish. I plan on introducing quite a number of new chickens this spring.
My family and I are tying to get as close to self sustaining as possible, we have a couple pigs and are adding cattle this year as well. We have a small homestead of 5 1/2 acres. We do a big garden every year and I can and dehydrate all I can. We also hunt and put back game in the freezer as well.
God has blessed us with the means to provide for our family and we try to do so in the healthiest way possible
