In the Brooder
Hey everyone! Let me start off by saying the folks on this site are SO helpful. You guys have already helped me identify a 5 week old rooster in my flock who I was able to return before any chicken drama started. Thank you!
I grew up on farms but have been living in cities for the past 10 years while attending college and working. Now my husband and I have finally gotten a chance to move out to the country and we have just started our first flock. We've got a colorful collection of chicks ranging from 1-5 weeks old (keeping the big ones separate for now to avoid potential bullying). Here are the babies!
Silkies: Misty, Gizmo, and Piper
Ameraucanas: Erin and Nookie
Rhode Island Red: Reba, Black Sexlink: Bitsy, Buff Orpington: Heidi
Cuckoo Marans (?): Mi Roo, Tania and Arya
If anyone is curious, I've been writing in more detail about our transition back to country life on my blog, https://burrowbrookcottage.wordpress.com/
Very happy to be a part of this great community!
