New in PNW

Hi all! Hope Im doing this right lol Im new to the group here and live in Wa state.
My name is Crystal, but Im ok with "Clueless"
Im 40 years old and I have one chicken and one baby that were unsure of right now lol
My hen is over a year old now and has been a regular and consistent layer, despite pretending to crow from time to time.
Our newest addition was hatched on mothers day. The egg was a gift after losing my dog to cancer earlier this year. (I love animals lol)
Not sure if its a boy or a girl but I guess well find out lol
Joined this group because I thought with having 2 there is more risk involved, and want to be the best chicken mom I can be, so Im here to learn all the things and ask all the stupid questions! Glad to be here!!
