Hi!
I've been reading BYC threads for a couple of years now, but only just joined.
I kept a small flock of 6 hens when I lived in city limits. We moved last year, and rehomed all of them. Now we're in a rural area, and I have 12 pullets (hopefully). They're still all inside (half hatched 3/18 and half hatched 4/7) and I'm feverishly working to complete their coop and run. I wasn't nearly this excited about our hens before. I liked them & their eggs, but I feel like I may have been sucked into kind of chicken obsession this time.
I know I have 3 tetra tints and 3 golden comets. I *think* I have 1 splash cochin and 1 white sultan, as well. I don't know about the other 4. And, since I'm far too impatient to wait for them to grow up to know what kind of chickens they are, I figured I'd turn to the experts at BYC.
So, look out for me in the "what breed?" forum.
