new incubator,is there anything else i need

Oh, you can leave turner in and run tube between eggs to hit bottom or just leave one egg out of turner(if you plan on filling it completely) so that you can just dump the water in that spot with small glass while opening the incubator!

and one other thing im wondering now is, i have the new incubator in a spare room in my house, as this is my first ever incubator im just wondering is there chance of it overheating or causing a fire etc, i doubt it myself but just wondering if there is anyone that has had a problem or not

No reason to worry, as safe, if not safer than a lamp! They use low wattage heater and should be no danger wherever put! Just follow directions....
