New Information on JM Hatchery Redbros!!

Exactly, I figure maybe 3 out of every 50 I'll get to eat myself... and it's darn good chicken! It's also a first step for cautious shoppers to start eating farm foom, rather than stryofoam wrapped grocery store food.

Hey Grey! Do the broilers breed with each other if you let them get older? If not can you PM me with the info on how to breed good broiler birds?
Thanks a lot man!

I fiddle with breeding my own broilers, but they're nothing like what you can get as day old chickens. You can start playing with breeding now, but expect it to take a good 5 years until you get nice results. I'll continue to buy-in broilers for sale, while just eating my homebred ones myself. I can't really sell them as they don't look quite right.

I believe he'll post the information on them. The Black I know was the slowest growing of all, whereas all the other colors seemed to be within a week of each other as far as finishing time/weight. So, aside from the black, you just pick the color which is prettiest to you. :eek:

I got an e-mail from Barbara sometime this weekend. For anyone curious:

Tricolor = Golden Ranger
Redbro = Bronze Ranger
Coloryield = Red Ranger
MasterGris = Grey Ranger
Black = Black
