New Introduction

I would leave one rooster in there but take they other out after you see who treats the girls better or who they accept
Thanks! I’ll definitely get on that. We end up catching them in a large rubbermaid trashcan. They run right into it. Seems to be the easiest way to get them.
These are the two boys. They’ve come a long way. I have no idea what type they are. I just call the darker one Mick (Like Mick Jagger) and the other one Freddie (Like Freddie Mercury).

Thanks for the warm welcome.
We’re located in Fallston, MD.
No current roosters, prior to these 2.
The roosters were found together & have since been kept that way, with no issues.
The run has about a 5ft fence around it and we haven’t had any predator issues, knock on wood, since last year. We cut a door in the side of the coop and built a ramp. They put themselves away at dusk, & we go over to close up shop.
I added a pic of the coop & run. The yellow building is an old corn crib. There are door on both sides of the center space. The fenced area is the run. We tore down old dog runs at the main house & repurposed them. ❤️

Oh, so beautiful! This land is great. So how did the introduction of the 2 roosters go? Everything ok? Of course you don't mind if the hens chase the roosters, right? That may happen for awhile. I have 4 roosters now. The main rooster is Harvey. The hens love him and fight each other to roost next to him at night! 2nd rooster is Jethro. He has one hen very dedicated to him, she follows him everywhere. I have two juveniles, Greybeard and Bill. I'd like to rehome Bill and Jethro. I have about 40 hens. The hens still put Greybeard and Bill in their place at the bottom of the pecking order, so funny to see! They run! Again, it's nice to have you here. Please report on the state of rooster integration!!!:D
