I have two wonderful young roosters who were thought to be hens until just recently. Both are regularly handled and the Easter Egger is especially easy to work with - I can walk around carrying him! The Easter Egger hatched in June, and the Black Copper Marans hatched in July. The Marans is particularly striking, in sunlight he is iridescent black/blue/green - with a lovely gold neck. Both have just started crowing. Sorry about the poor pictures, I had to take them inside, but will try and get some outside ones ASAP.
I'm very sad to see them go, and really hope someone out there can give them a nice home! I will deliver them within 2 hours of Sussex NJ.
