New Jersey

Any suggestions appreciated. Hubby is almost done with the coop. Would like to get chickens old enough to go straight into coop the first week of April. Looking at either 8 week old or 12 week old hens. I want them young enough to grow up with my kids but old enough to withstand crazy NJ temps.

I have Rhode Island red(brown egg layers), ameracauna , tetra (white legnorn crosses), an olive egfer, and legbar I'll get you a bunch of each, give me a couple of days I'll have eggs for you in a few days.

Ooh, a green egg laying polish cross. Should be interesting. What color is the polish? Maybe it will be autosexing as well.
