I got 8 day old chicks in Aug. adopted 4 more, culled 4, added 4 6 week old chicks. 2 of the adopted are cockerels. Got my 1st 2 eggs today! So exciting!

I know in Brick we can have them I just don't want to neighbors to complain...

A turkey, chicken, quail, pheasant, peacock or other bird belonging to the biological order of Galliformes or a swan, goose, duck or other bird belonging the biological order Anseriformes.

I’ve looked through my town laws and I can’t find anywhere that it says you can’t have cockerels/roosters. I’ll keep looking though.

I'm in Jackson. Nothing in the books. Thankfully! I'm on an acre, too. That helps. My neighbor has 3 or 4 roosters but only 1 or 2 crow. Only 1 of mine crows.

No, thanks. 2 is enough for me. I may have to get more hens to accomodate them.
