New Jersey

Hey Everyone - I'm in Union County and have five 5-month old Cinnamon Queen hens I'm looking to rehome. They are in great health and laying consistently. We're moving and hoping to find a loving home. Please let me know if you're interested. Thanks!

Hi there! I have several dozen Celadon coturnix quail hatching right now. The celadon gene causes the quail to lay beautiful blue eggs. All of these chicks hatched from blue eggs, the previous generation (their parents) all layed blue eggs, and I expect that at least 75% but more likely 100% of the hens will lay blue eggs as adults. These are straight run chicks, gender unknown. The photos are of previous chicks.

I’m asking $20 per dozen, local pickup only, I will meet you outdoors at a public place, and will observe social distancing. The chicks are currently hatching, There will be between 2 and 3 dozen available. I hope to sell them this weekend.

I also have Celadon hatching eggs available for $10 per dozen.

You will receive the chicks only, you must set up A brooder to care for them.

Hi everyone! First post of (hopefully) many. I am new to chicken owning and unfortunately was unaware that at TSC there is a risk of getting roosters as well. Currently I have 7 birds however 2 are roosters and I am unable to keep them. I would love to find a great new home for them. They are both about 16 weeks old, great health, one is a Black Orpington and the other is a Rhode Island Red. If you would like to offer a new home or know of anyone who is looking for roosters, please let me know through a direct message or reply to this one.

I am located in the CNJ shore area however I am willing to drive to drop them off.

Thanks!
could you post pictures?

Hi, Pennsylvanian here looking for anyone selling organic eggs near Edison, NJ. Someone from there responded to my Craigslist ad, but it’s just too far to drive (120 miles). They’re looking to buy a fairly large quantity of eggs. Please let me know asap if you know of anyone. Thank you so much, and God bless you!❤️✝️

I'm trying to rehome 3 roosters, as I have way too many. They are approximately 20 weeks old. Showing NO signs of human aggression, they seem to be all you'd want in a rooster.

Lavender Orpington rooster.
Northwest Jersey here near Hackettstown. I have a very handsome Lavender Orpington rooster, turning 3yo on October 1st. He was the one all the kids loved and held when he was young, right up until he crowed. He had a crop issue that I worked on lovingly, medication and chicken bra applications. He became human aggressive and drew blood. I worked with him using tactics as suggested by so many wonderful people here. I eventually gave up and put him in a “bachelor pad”. He’s so unhappy seeing his ladies but unable to interact. I don’t want to cull him, he’s so pretty and I’ve put so much effort into him. I simply do not have the experience or ability to handle an aggressive rooster. I can’t even take care of his bra now.
Pm me if you are interested. If not please contact me if you know of a rescue.
There's a rescue called bivona farm,
And a place called Broken Hammer farms (on facebook) that will take roos for 15$ (you pay, not them) .
