Hello everyone
so today i was bored and decided i was going to do what i have wanted to do for years : which was breed quails! So i went down to my local pet store and brought 5 quail - 1 male and 4 female. As i was adding their feed to the pen, 3 off then flew away. I managed to retrieve 2, but sadly i have no clUe as to where my other quail went. luckily the quail that went missing was a female and not my only male. And i just want to know how i can breed my quails sufficiently and effective. Oh and by the way I live in australia and it is currently the beginning of winter, during the day it becomes quite hot and humid. (25-30 degrees Celsius) and during night it becomes around 17-21 degrees celcius. I dont want to risk losing a clutch of eggs so I am going to use an incubator. By the way I am planning on making an incubator within the next couple of days
if anyone had any suggestions or tips I would love to hear all of them. And how long does it take for fertilised eggs to be lay? Do any of you recommend I do not incubate the eggs? All of your comments are much appreciated x
