Oh, I'm sorry I should have sent you a PM letting you know the pics were up!
I hope these can make up for my thoughtlessness! I meant to post these sooner, but everyone's been sick with something "flu-ish"! These are of my first batch of lavenders, they are 12-13 weeks old, 5 cockerels, 4 pullets. They are so sweet, they love to follow me all over the yard, "talking" to me all the while. One of the boys just started crowing- he sounds like a higher pitched version of one of those cow-in-a-can toys when you turn it over!

Handsome Boys!
Mottled Girl in front
Blind Girl- she pipped through a blood vessel and lost quite a bit of blood when hatching. She recovered quickly, and at first appeared OK, then we noticed she was having trouble with her sight-walking it things, difficulty finding the food and water, etc... I suspect the blood loss/lack of oxygen caused the blindness, she's otherwise healthy. She free ranges with the others, we make sure to put the food and water in the same locations and we tap on them to remind her where they are. (the mottled girl is her best friend and helps her a lot, too) Occasionally she'll wander into the trees around our yard, but she will stop and wait for someone to get come get her when she does.
