New Layer Confused~!

My 2 Speckled Sussex just started laying 2 days ago. They pace the yard are in and out of the coop, make loud noises for hours and they haven't even lay the egg yet. Finally after they have lay their egg they are back to normal. We call it egg brain, because it seems like they are going crazy and they don't know what they want. I hope this gets better with time.

If your not feeding them layer crumbles yet that could be the issue. Ours did this to and sometimes still do it just means they're getting ready or egg blocked (well i'm pretty sure that's what its called) anyway that is like egg constipation you should give layer crumbles(or more) and extra water!
