New layer stopped

I have a 21 week old BCM pullet who laid her first egg over a week ago and has not laid since. My first flock was a couple years ago and I never had this. They all started laying and then consistently continued, although they were hatched in early Fall. I've been assuming waning sunlight has been the culprit, but at this point it seems strange that she hasn't laid at least one more egg. Anyone have any idea? Is this normal?

Thanks! I'll keep an eye out but haven't found any hidden ones yet

Not unusual for laying to be inconsistent at the start, which includes egg quality issues and breaks in laying. Even if you've had other layers that jumped in with both feet, she might take a while longer to get going.
