a few days ago one of my chickens started
laying her first eggs but when she lays them
they werent fully developted the shell was
nearly see though and the shell is soft .

This is normal for the first egg or two. Make sure you have crushed oyster shell available for your hen to eat all she want. This added calcium is needed for egg layers. . . .
