I worked for a vet for a short time. That got me a few more cats.

A very dangerous place for me to work.

Baby chick made it through the night but she didn't want to eat or really drink anything this morning. She really just wants to sleep, which has me concerned. She doesn't walk well at all.

When she is awake she seems alert, she doesn't seem sick, but maybe just a failure to thrive. She had been at TSC for a few days and they aren't getting any more chicks in so know one would ever buy her.

I am not holding out much hope, but at least she is warm and safe. I almost brought her to work with me, but I had no way to keep her warm here other than holding her and I can't do that all day. She just cuddles up in my hand. I had her sleeping under my shirt on my stomach while I was watching TV last night.

If she is ok when I get home I will try and get some pictures. She may very well just be a "red" and not a bantie, but she is smaller than my 2 week old banties and really really cute. Just the perfect little yellow chick that you see in pictures.
